Kingston city council instructs staff to develop list of upgrades for its sports fields

While city council in Kingston, Ont. has approved new sports field rates for its user groups, it also wants a review done of the condition of its fields. One councillor said there have been reports by some groups who claim out-of-town facilities are so much more state-of-the-art. City staff has been instructed to recommend a list of improvements that should be made before local teams take to the fields this summer.
