Kelowna achieves tree canopy goal 11 years early

Oct. 1, 2019 – Kelowna, B.C.’s goal to realize at least a 20 per cent tree cover by 2030 has been achieved and exceeded 11 years ahead of schedule. The city’s urban canopy is reported to be about 23 per cent.
