
Dec. 19, 2018 – Residents of the Ottawa suburb of Kanata-Beaverbrook are angered that the owner of the Kanata Golf & Country Club is looking to sell off the property to accommodate new housing. They argue it’s a violation of a 1981 agreement that guarantees 40 per cent of the land is designated as green space and that sale of the land would see their property values plummet.
