March 1, 2019 – The City of Kamloops is looking to reduce mowing operations on its sports fields this summer by applying plant growth regulators. The strategy is expected to make the turf more durable for user groups and requires less downtime and maintenance, less irrigation during hot summer months and about 40 per cent less mowing.
