Junior hockey team helping with needed yard work during COVID-19 pandemic

Members of the Nanaimo Clippers junior hockey team have stepped up to assist seniors and emergency services personnel to help with basic yard work. The team says it is not trying to take jobs away from commercial landscapers, but is lending a hand to those who can’t get out during the COVID-19 pandemic and those overburdened with essential emergency work.
