July 4, 2012  By  Mike Jiggens

Jacobsen, a Textron Company, has
partnered with the National Association of Golf Course Owners
Association (NGCOA) Canada. The partnership will help the equipment
manufacturer build relationships in Canada.

Jacobsen is now a Platinum Partner of the NGCOA Canada, which qualifies the organization’s members for significant rebates on all Jacobsen turf maintenance equipment. jacobsenweb

“Jacobsen delivers cutting edge technology and is dedicated to building strong relationships by surpassing customers’ expectations with tremendous service," said Jeff Calderwood, CEO, NGCOA Canada. "When you combine these elements with the financial incentive negotiated by the NGCOA Canada, our partnership with Jacobsen is guaranteed to deliver value for the entire membership."

Founded in 1993, the NGCOA Canada is dedicated to providing business support, education, initiatives to grow the game, one united voice, and effective networking environments to enable its members to operate more profitable and efficient golf facilities.

“Jacobsen is focused on building relationships globally with customers, associations and dealers,” said David Withers, president of Jacobsen. “Our partnership with the NGCOA Canada helps us build and develop relationships in Canada, a very important market for Jacobsen.”

Just a few NGCOA Canada members that use Jacobsen equipment include Mississauga Golf and Country Club, Lookout Point Country Club, Otter Creek Golf Club, Edmonton Country Club, Wascana Country Club and Country Hills Golf Club in Calgary, host of last month’s PGA Championship of Canada.

Jacobsen equipment can be purchased through a network of distributors across Canada.
