If Ontario courses remain closed for long, it will be bad for some
Province being lobbied to include golf among list of essentials

A season without golf could put smaller courses in Northern Ontario in peril, a director with the Northern Golf Association, representing 29 clubs across northeastern Ontario, says. The province’s golf courses are lobbying the Ontario government to include them among essential businesses in a reboot of the economy. So far, golf is permitted to be played – starting in May – in Saskatchewan and New Brunswick, which will join British Columbia where no provincial closure mandates were made.
