Homeowners’ association surprised to learn members now on hook for boulevard upkeep

Recent rainfall has led to a spike in vegetative growth along Cochrane, Alta.’s boulevards and centre medians. Residents are asking who is responsible for maintaining the green spaces now that they’re in dire need of cutting. Although the town tackled the maintenance of the medians, members of the Sunset Ridge Homeowners Association were surprised to learn they are responsible for the upkeep of boulevards – something previously done by a local landscaping company.
