Historic tree in danger of removal to accommodate train station extension

Oct. 25, 2019 – An historic elm tree in Whitchurch-Stouffville, estimated at upwards of 200 years old, is in jeopardy of being removed to accommodate an extension to the nearby Lincolnville GO station. The town’s arborist said the tree could easily last another 200 years.
