High Park reopens to public following cherry blossom season shutdown

City of Toronto wanted to prevent physical distancing violations

Toronto has reopened High Park after having temporarily shut it down during the late April-early May cherry blossom bloom. Visitors typically flock to the park in large numbers to see the blossoms, but the city didn’t want to compromise the need for physical distancing during the COVID-19 pandemic.
