
March 7, 2019 – A farmhouse built in 1861 and declared a heritage property has been relocated on the site of a Kitchener park that will be home to new sports fields and other amenities. The former farmhouse will serve as washroom facilities during the second phase of the RBJ Schlegel Park project. Two artificial fields, one natural field, a cricket pitch and a multi-purpose field are part of the project’s first phase.
