HeatherGlen first Calgary course to open, fills weekend tee sheets in seven minutes

HeatherGlen Golf Course opened for play on Saturday, becoming the first Calgary-area course to bring back golfers for a new season. Tee sheets for both Saturday and Sunday were filled completely within seven minutes of the course announcing its opening. Record numbers of rounds played were realized in 2020 amid the COVID-19 pandemic, and golf courses in Calgary and area figure this year’s earlier start and a still high demand for golf could shatter those records.
