Feb. 4, 2019 – Operations have resumed at Hamilton’s Central Composting Facility for the first time in more than seven months but at only one-third capacity. The plant was temporarily shut down last June while operating at full capacity. Odour complaints from neighbouring residents, however, forced the temporary shutdown.
