Outgoing Greater London Association of Golf Superintendents (GLAGS) president Mark Hagen has a new successor, or rather two new successors.
Hagen, of Hyde Park Equipment in London, Ont., recently announced his intentions to step down as GLAGS president following 25 years. Coming on board to run the organization are Mark Durand of Ontario Seed Company and Christian Kuhn, superintendent at Pine Knot Golf Club in Dorchester, Ont.
Hagen said there will be a short transition period for the changing of the guard, but said he anticipates "exciting" changes ahead.
GLAGS still has a few events remaining for the 2015 season, including its annual progressive scramble event in September, to be played at London's Sunningdale Golf Club.
