Grooming equipment, stadium upgrades required as new IBL franchise awaits its debut

Now that the municipality of Chatham-Kent has thrown its support behind an expansion franchise in the Intercounty Baseball League, there’s still work to be done at Fergie Jenkins Field at Rotary Park before the first pitch is thrown to begin the 2024 season. Diamond grooming equipment is required and upgrades to the stadium must be done before the team makes its debut.
