Sarnia yields to people’s dismay over tree bylaw

The people have spoken in Sarnia, Ont. They oppose the city’s proposed tree bylaw which would have required residents wishing to remove a tree from their property to pay a fee to apply for a permit. But the permit could be rejected in some cases. Council has consequently axed the bylaw, for now.
