Ottawa fines 19 unlicensed snow contractors
The City of Ottawa laid 19 charges this week against unlicensed private snow contractors, increasing the number of charges so far this year to 40. The city is urging consumers to ensure the contractor they hire is properly licensed. Unlicensed contractors face a fine of $260.
