Kitchener devises strategy to protect its urban forest
Kitchener is working on a plan to preserve its urban forest that currently covers about one-quarter of the city.
May 8, 2018 – The City of Kitchener has drafted a new strategy to protect and develop its forest cover. The city previously had no real plan to ensure its urban canopy could remain healthy and withstand changing climates and urban life.
