Family pleased with ‘appropriate’ park dedication

Feb. 7, 2019 – The family of a Montreal piano teacher and musician who died two years ago felt slighted last year when the city honoured her legacy by naming “a very small patch of grass” after her. But current Montreal Mayor Valerie Plante said a much larger city park has been approved to bear the name of Daisy Peterson-Sweeney.
