Charlottetown maintains pesticide ban exemption

Exemptions in Charlottetown, P.E.I.’s cosmetic pesticide bylaw will remain in place after the city’s mayor was forced to break a tie vote on whether or not to remove the exemptions. The debate focused on the exemption to use banned products in the event of an infestation.
