Calgary ponders future of city-owned golf courses

May 10, 2019 – The future of Calgary’s municipal golf courses is up for debate. Although a committee is looking into how Calgary’s eight city-owned courses can become self-sustainable again, staff has been instructed to consider other options, including rezoning the land to build highrises and selling the courses for development.
