Ball diamond rehabilitation bid nixed by council

A significant increase in the number of local baseball players has created a strain on existing diamonds in Saugeen Shores, Ont. A recommendation to rehabilitate an unused diamond to accommodate the demand, at a cost of $45,000, has been rejected by council.
