Golf takes flight in Cochrane, with one of busiest Aprils and sold out memberships

Golf courses in Alberta’s Cochrane area are anticipating another banner season in 2021, as golf remains one of the few forms of recreation that can be safely practised amid the COVID-19 pandemic. During his 43 years in the golf business, Cochrane Golf Club operations manager Brad Walz said he has never seen so much golf course traffic at this point in April. He said it’s also the first time he’s seen memberships completely sold out.
