Ace marked his first swing of club this season
May 25, 2020 By The Chronicle Herald
An Alberta golf superintendent’s first swing of a club this season was one for the ages. Nick Plantje, superintendent at Serenity Golf Club in Rocky View, teed one up at the 102-yard 14th hole to test the green’s reaction and watched his ball track toward the hole and disappear into the cup. The ace was witnessed by a couple of friends who were already playing the hole and allowed Plantje to make the one hit.
