Golf numbers in B.C. could increase more as provincial restrictions loosen
2021 poised to top 2020's 25 per cent increase in play
June 30, 2021 By CKPG Today

Golf play was up 25 per cent in 2020 over 2019 numbers at the Prince George Golf & Curling Club, and indications so far this year point to an increase beyond that. The club professional says it’s not only because golf has been deemed one of the safer recreational pursuits during the COVID-19 pandemic, it’s also because the game brings families together. As restrictions continue to loosen in British Columbia, golf courses will be able to offer more than they did last year, which could boost numbers even more.
