A city council meeting Monday in Armstrong, B.C. became heated during a discussion over a rezoning application for the Royal York Golf Course. At issue was a proposal to develop the golf course property for 141 single-family housing lots, thereby reducing the golf course to a par-three executive length. A heated debate ensued between a councilor and Armstrong’s chief administrative officer.
