Gas cost a factor, but emissions and noise levels inspire lawn care company to go electric

A new Prince Edward Island lawn care company decided it would go electric from the get-go. The owners of Green Lawns cited the soaring cost of gasoline was one reason for going electric, but it was the care for the environment that proved to be the main motivator. The elimination of emissions, reduced noise levels and not having to worry about fuel spills were key considerations.
