Funding to help provide new backstops at Hamilton park baseball diamonds
Funding also to help upgrade parking
March 29, 2022 By Turf & Rec

New backstops will be installed at the baseball diamonds at Dr. William Bethune Park in Hamilton following the expenditure of $33,000 from the city’s public works department. The money, which is coming from the Ward 8 capital re-investment reserve fund, will also be used to upgrade parking and the driveway at the park. The ball diamonds at the park are showing their age, but the sport is growing locally.
