Fredericton tree bylaw would protect urban forest from several threats

Development, disease, insects and vandalism among cited threats

City council in Fredericton is looking to implement a bylaw that would protect city trees from development, insect infestation, disease and vandalism. The bylaw would also apply to trees situated on private property if they’re deemed to impact city operations.
