August 8, 2014  By  Mike Jiggens

Four turfgrass management students from Canadian post-secondary institutions are among 27 throughout North America to be awarded scholarships through the Jacobsen Turfgrass Scholarship program.

Morgan Creighton from Olds College, Mark Stoklosa from Kwantlen Polytechnic University and Meaghan Nunn and Matthew Valeriani from the University of Guelph have earned scholarships from the program which is now in its third year.

“At Jacobsen, we take great pride in the turf industry and are committed to supporting turf managers at all levels," said David Withers, president of Jacobsen. "Awarding scholarships to these deserving students is one way we are able to reward their current success and invest in the future of this industry. We look forward to working with these turf managers for many years to come.”
