Final design for Brooklin, Ont. sports complex gets green light from town council
Pool, gym, arena among its facilities

The final design for a sports complex in Brooklin, Ont. has been approved by town council. Construction of the Whitby Sports Complex is set to begin this spring. Based on community feedback, expressing the need for a new sports and recreational facility, plans got underway in 2020. Features of the complex are to include a 10-lane pool at the aquatic centre, a double gymnasium, a two-ice pad arena, a skate park, and courts for pickleball, tennis and basketball.
