Fencing around Toronto park to remain in place to allow reseeded area to grow

Area was reseeded after homeless camp dismantled

A security fence erected two weeks ago at Toronto’s Trinity Bellwoods Park will remain in place for another few weeks to allow for turf restoration. A large section of the park was reseeded after a homeless encampment was forcibly shut down on June 22. In addition to the fencing, security guards will be patrolling the area to ensure there are no trespassers while the grass is growing.
