Federal funding will help Waskesiu, Sask. community upgrade its lawn bowling facility

The lawn bowling facility at the Waskesiu townsite in Saskatchewan is getting a facelift as a result of $56,022 in funding from the federal government through PrairiesCan. The lawn bowling facility is one of three local recreation projects to benefit from the funding. The lawn bowling facility had “fallen off” in recent years. The funding will also help with the installation of a new beach volleyball court and memorial benches in recreational areas.
