Extend Ontario’s stay-at-home order, but reopen the province’s golf courses: OMA
Locking down golf aimed to prevent unnecessary movement
May 13, 2021 By Orangeville.com

The OMA’s recommendation was made the day after Ontario Solicitor General Sylvia Jones said golf courses will remain closed throughout the duration of the lockdown. She said the shuttering of golf courses is to prevent unnecessary movement, but a Golf Ontario representative said it’s no different than getting to and from grocery stores and other businesses.
