Excessive rainfall hampers mowing cycles on Winnipeg’s boulevards

Unprecedented rainfall this year in the Winnipeg area has impacted the city’s mowing cycles on boulevards, and neighbouring residents are none too happy about it. They say grass has grown out of control and dandelions are abundant, creating an eyesore. A city councillor says green spaces are growing, but the mowing budget isn’t which means grass gets longer as mowing cycles go up.
