Environmental assessments delaying GTI’s move

Sept. 6, 2018 – The need for additional environmental assessments at the site of the new Guelph Turfgrass Institute has delayed the GTI’s move from its current location on Victoria Road. The lease the GTI has at its current location was to expire this year, but the move isn’t expected to happen anytime soon until concerns about wildlife dependent upon a drainage pathway is resolved in the area of the Arboretum.
