Emerald ash borer arrives in Fredericton, city takes measures to contain spread
Expensive treatment won't allow for all city ash trees to be treated

The emerald ash borer has made its way to Fredericton, and the city has already stepped up with a plan to contain its spread. The ash tree-destroying insect was first spotted in the city earlier this month. A select number of trees will be treated, but the expense of the treatment won’t allow for all city ash trees to undergo the process.
