Ecological concerns being heard over artificial turf field installation at Montreal park

Issue is seen as elected officials' willingness to commit to ecological transition

The installation of artificial turf to provide for a multi-sport field at Mackenzie King Park in Montreal’s Côte-des-Neiges-Notre-Dame-de-Grâce borough isn’t being favourably met by area residents and frequent park visitors. They’re not against the availability of sports opportunities that had been deemed short. Their concerns are based more on ecological reasons.
