Eastern Ontario landowners say government fails to see gypsy moth problem
Caterpillars are defoliating trees in days

Local and provincial governments are being called upon to help control an invasion of gypsy moth caterpillars in eastern Ontario. The insects can completely defoliate a tree in no time, causing extensive damage in the long term. One homeowner has said no one within the local and provincial government with whom he had spoken said a problem existed.
