The recent acquisition of two Manitoba Bobcat dealerships by Duron Equipment Inc. has established the company as the provider of Bobcat equipment to all but the province’s southwest region.
Duron’s dealer network now includes Bobcat of Central Manitoba in Winnipeg and Bobcat of Eastman (formerly Bobcat of Central Manitoba-Steinbach) in Steinbach.
“Bobcat of Greenvalley has been a Bobcat dealer in Southern Manitoba for 13 years, and we’ve had great success representing and growing the Bobcat brand there over the years,” Duron Equipment general manager James Wiebe said. “A solid team of dedicated employees, a loyal customer base and an excellent brand all played a factor in acquiring our new locations.”
Bobcat of Eastman and Bobcat of Central Manitoba were purchased by Morden-based Bobcat of the Pembina Valley (formerly Bobcat of Greenvalley) to form the new enterprise Duron Equipment Inc. All three dealerships will continue to serve as authorized sales, service, parts and rental providers of Bobcat equipment.
“Our vision has always been to be the premier construction dealership in Manitoba,” Wiebe said.
Duron Equipment’s main customers include those in the landscaping, construction and agricultural markets.
