Door closing on golf course’s future operation
Brantford councillors vote to close Arrowdale Golf Course in favour of affordable housing

Brantford’s Arrowdale Golf Course will be sold after all, pending approval by city council on Dec. 17. Councillors voted 8-3 on Tuesday to sell the nine-hole municipal course to generate revenue for affordable housing. Those who voted against the sale wished to fulfill an earlier promise to keep the course operational.
