Don’t rake those fallen leaves, Nature Conservancy of Canada advises

The Nature Conservancy of Canada is advising homeowners to leave fallen leaves alone this autumn, suggesting that not raking them up is an act of nature conservation that supports backyard biodiversity. The NCC says homeowners who are criticized by their neighbours as being lazy can argue they are doing their part to help insects that are hibernating through the winter.
