Don’t let new park turn attention away from existing facilities: parks & rec official
Existing parks could host revenue-generating sports events

Cochrane, Alta.’s existing parks and green spaces may be lost in the shuffle if the municipality focuses too much on a new park only a year away from the completion of its first phase. A parks and recreation committee member told council that greater attention directed at existing parks could bring in significant revenue through sports tournaments.
