Destructive moth no longer a one-in-10-years problem; it’s here to stay: ecologist
Ontario trees likely to be defoliated again this year
February 14, 2022 By Turf & Rec

The Hamilton Conservation Authority suggests the moths have become an endemic and are no longer the once-in-10-years destructive pest they’ve been previously labelled. The insect is here to stay, a terrestrial ecologist with the authority, says, and will have to be dealt with continually.
