Delta, B.C. readies for new tree bylaw

Bylaw has proven to be a touchy subject locally

A new tree bylaw is in the works for Delta, B.C. The existing bylaw requires a minimum two-for-one replacement of trees that are removed under a tree-cutting permit. If more than one tree is removed within a two-year period, a replacement plan must be submitted by a qualified individual.
