Delegates will try to persuade Regina city council to approve baseball stadium study
Feasibility study to cost $100,000
October 27, 2021 By Global News

The idea behind funding a feasibility study for a new baseball stadium in Regina will be discussed at tonight’s city council meeting. The city’s executive committee has recommended funding be denied, but 13 delegates will be speaking to the issue. Mike Ramage, Baseball Sask’s executive director and one of the delegates, said the city is long overdue in having a premier stadium for the Regina Red Sox to call home. Earlier this month, the executive committee voted 7-3 against a feasibility study that would cost $100,000 in city funding.
