Dead trees along Cornwall street to be replaced at city’s expense after warranty expired

Cost of dead trees estimated at $20,000

About 70 newly planted trees along a Cornwall, Ont. boulevard and roundabout died a couple of winters ago, and their replacement cost is being absorbed by the city after the contractor’s warranty expired. The cost attached to the dead trees was about $20,000. New trees planted in the fall have a new two-year warranty.
