Critics of proposed Montreal sports complex say it’s too expensive, overkill

A popular soccer field at a Montreal suburban park may be giving way to a $48.7-million sports complex in spite of the opposition of hundreds of residents. Town of Mount Royal residents opposed to the project argue it is too costly to build and its planned size is unnecessarily large for a community of 21,000 people.
