Courses in Edmonton area already face bad winters and poor summers

“I am terrified for what the future might look like for the golf businesses,” says Murray McCourt, general manager at The Ranch Golf & Country Club in Edmonton. He said the golf season is short enough as it is in that part of Alberta, and golf normally has to contend with the ravages of winter and poor weather in summer. But the COVID-19 pandemic could deliver the death blow, he says.
