Community petition leads to plans for new recreational amenities at Peachland, B.C. park

Plans are afoot for new recreational amenities at Turner Park in the District of Peachland, B.C. in response to a petition that called for the municipality to use the area for park space. Among the planned amenities are a full-size soccer field, a softball diamond, pickleball courts and an off-leash dog park. The municipality currently has no baseball or soccer teams for its youth.
